The Evolution

   Of a Journeyman

      Singer in a Bar

SWEENEY

I started playing guitar

in bars at 19. Performing solo - then in duos, trios, bands, all that, with lots

of solo gigs in between.

When I discovered the ukulele in 2005 my musical world was transformed.

Click on the links

above and you’ll find the story of a journeyman guitar player & saloon singer who has happened upon some cool ukulele adventures.

I have recently stumbled into performing
Yacht Rock tunes on the baritone ukulele! - along with popular standards
& classic 60’s.

It’s fun!
